Julie performs with Eleuthera Trio (Lois Shapiro, piano, Francine Trester, violin, Julie Reimann, cello) at the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton, MA, in support of Doctors Without Borders, a nonprofit organization that brings medical humanitarian assistance to victims of conflict, natural disasters, epidemics and healthcare exclusion. The program includes Martin's scintillating Trio on Popular Irish Melodies, Piazzolla's exciting Otoño Porteño (Autumn), Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk's hauntingly beautiful Melody, and Ravel's exquisite Trio in a minor. All proceeds donated to Doctors Without Borders.
Julie will join the Leonard-Tuttle duo, performing Johannes Brahm’s Trio, Op.114 for clarinet, cello & piano, (with Margaret Cheng Tuttle piano and Rebecca Leonard, clarinet). The program with also include Mozart’s Kegelstatt Trio (guest artist Jing-Huey Wei, viola), and Leonard Bernstein’s Sonata for Clarinet and Piano. Ellyses will be accompanying Virtuoso Violinist Adrian Anatawan in the Opening Session concert for 2022 MTNA (Music Teacher National Association) National Conference in Minneapolis, MN , featuring compositions by He Zhanhao & Chen Gang, Amy Beach, Florence Price and Jose Elizondo.
Julie performs at Temple Beth Elohim on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11 at 7:45 pm (virtual), in a concert to benefit the resettlement of Afghan families. She’ll be performing Haydn London Trio No. 1 and Ginastera’s Impresiones de la Puna. The concert includes works by both contemporary and classical composers. All proceeds will go towards resettling an Afghan family (~$35,000 to $40,000 needs to be raised per resettled family).
Duo Amie will be performing with the Choral Art Society of the South Shore for their annual holiday concert, under the baton of Danica Buckley. The program will include the beautiful “A Winter Day” for Choir, solo cello, & piano, by Sarah Quartel, and also "Canción de Cuna" (Lullaby) for Cello & Piano, by Jose Elizondo.

Composer Joachim Johow transcribed a second anthology of Klezmer tunes, for cello and piano. Julie helped as the editor of the album, and we debut the tilte piece Oifn Pripetchik (By the Fireside)

We will perform works by Amy Beach, Florence Price, and Camille Saint-Saens, on Tuesday, May 18th at 7 pm May, in support of THRIVEGulu. THRIVEGulu, celebrating 11 years of helping survivors become THRIVERS, is raising money for the upcoming creation of a new Library and Resource Center! This event is through the Longwood Symphony Orchestra’s “community partnership and Healing Art of Music” program.
