We perform in the Unwound Sound Series at the First Unitarian Church of Austin, as guest artists of the Orpheus Music Academy! Click here for a link to the visual art component of the program.
We are delighted to return as guest artists at ENC in Quincy. We perform ‘In Her Own Key’ a celebration of works for cello and piano by women composers, featuring Florence Price (including her dramatic Fantasie in g minor), Amy Beach (including her popular Opus 23 Romance), Rebecca Clarke, Clara Schumann, and Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel. In celebration of the renovation and re-dedication of Cameron Hall.
We acelebrate Women’s History month at Endicott College, in the Endicott Encores Concert Series! We perform a program tilted ‘In Her Own Key’ a celebration of works for cello & piano by women, including Clara Schumann, Amy Beach, Florence Price, Rebecca Clarke, and Mendelssohn-Hensel. Duo Amie performs a guest artist recital at Midwinter Adult Piano Retreat, in lovely Lake Worth Beach, Florida. We perform Schumann’s Fantasy Pieces, Fanny Mendelssohn’s Fantasia in g minor, Schubert’s Fantasia in f minor, Jose Elizondo’s Fairy Tale Princess, and Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite (arranged for cello and piano by Mark Fish). We share our "‘On a Winter’s Eve’ program with the lovely community at Village at Duxbury. Duo Amie's ‘On a Winter's Eve’ combines traditional holiday favorites for cello & piano (including Wexford Carol and S’vivon Sov, Sov), fresh renditions of familiar songs of winter (including works by Schubert, Mendelssohn, Sibelius and Grieg), and newly commissioned works with a seasonal theme created for the Duo by acclaimed composers, including José Elizondo and Mauricio Charbonnier.
We are delighted to be back performing live in the lovely Music at Sanctuary Hall Series! We perform pieces from our new album ‘On A Winter’s Eve”, including autumn and winter favorites for cello & piano, fresh renditions of familiar songs of the season (including works by Schubert, Mendelssohn , Sibelius and Grieg), and newly commissioned works created for the Duo by acclaimed composers, including José Elizondo and Mauricio Charbonnier.
Duo Amie performs in the 2022 benefit concert and gala in support of the Vietnam Vascular Anomalies Center in Ho Chi Minh City, a humanitarian collaboration between physicians from Vietnam and the USA to treat children with disfiguring birthmarks.
We were thrilled to be the guest artists at the 2022 Midsummer Adult Piano Retreat, taking place at Endicott College. We performed an array of music, including works by Bartok, Saint-Saens, Elizondo, Gardel, Albeniz, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, and more, interspersed with commentary and visual art. We perform at the Allen Center for Arts and Culture in Newton, MA, our Shall We Dance? Concert in support of Shelter Music Boston, a nonprofit organization promoting community, creative interaction, respect, and the therapeutic benefit of music by performing chamber music concerts of the highest quality in homeless shelters. We are joined by Shelter Music Boston’s Artistic Director and renowned violinist, Adrian Anantawan. The program includes waltzes by Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich and Kapustin, folk dances by Bartok, Saint-Saens’ Danse Macabre, Elizondos’ Danzas Latinoamericanas and Piazzolla’s Le Grand Tango. All proceeds will be donated to Shelter Music Boston.
Invited by The College Club of Boston, Duo Amie performs a musical program called “Shall We Dance?” featuring dance music for cello and piano (as well as commentary on the pieces), incorporating folk dances, waltz and Latin American Dances (including Tango, Habanera and Samba) in their April event. Featured composers include Piazzolla, Saint-Saens, Bartok, Kapustin, Ravel, Elizondo and more! The College Club of Boston is the first women’s college club in the United States.

THRIVEGulu, celebrating 11 years of helping survivors become THRIVERS, is raising money for the upcoming creation of a new Library and Resource Center! This event is through the Longwood Symphony Orchestra’s “community partnership and Healing Art of Music” program. We will play in the Prelude Reception at the beginning of the Livestream.
